Mountain Extreme Park in Dayton, Tennessee hosted the 4th and final 2010 W.E. Rock Eastern US National Event, hosted by Tom’s 4x4 Super Store. Over 20 pro and local teams came to the two night event and battled in front of the record crowd. “There were 3,800 spectators over the 2 day event, making this the largest crowd in W.E. Rock history,” stated Rich Klein, race promoter. “The Mountain Extreme Park is a perfect place to watch rock crawling, putting the spectators within 10 feet of the action and giving them the ability to see every course from one spot.”

RallyCar sanctions the premier performance rally series in the United States, the Rally America National Championship Series. In 2010, RallyCar is conducting six National Championship events at venues across the country, from Olympia, Washington to Newry, Maine. RallyCar competitors reach speeds of well over 100 mph in modified street cars on natural-terrain courses consisting of gravel, dirt or snow. Formula DRIFT After Dark Round 5
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway hosted the event to a sell out crowd under the stars and lights in the Nevada desert. Round 5: After Dark featured the Vegas Pro Am finals, Fatlace One of One Showcase car show, Monster truck demonstration, Drag Races, and was highlighted with the Formula DRIFT championship competition. The competition heats up with only two events remaining in the 2010 Championship season.

Sunday was race day and as the sun came up the jitters in my stomach followed. Why was I nervous? I knew the road, the car was working well, and it’s only as bad as I make it. First race of the day I ran somewhat conservative but pushed as hard as I dared. My tire choice had paid off and the BFG All Terrain tires held the road like glue as the Proformance Unlimited 347 Ford screamed up the hill. The run felt good and I laid down the 4th fastest time in the Ultra 4 class. Second and final run I was going for it, no holding back!
